How I feel: Well, this is the day that I've had marked in my calendar since June. "The big day!" Unless this baby is born in the next 25 minutes, it looks like it will be a mystery...oooh...But I think this week has been different. More crampy and painful. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning, so we'll see what she says about progress. I'm getting nervous about the labor and delivery and life-changing experience of having our own little person to take care of. I can't believe they're going to let us take him home! It seems like there should be some kind of a license required for something like that. Bill and I made it to our last baby class on Valentine's Day. We learned CPR and general safety. The teacher was annoying, but it was somewhat useful. We were amused that when we got there, all the white baby dolls were picked up, so we each got a cute little black one. It's been an ongoing joke throughout the pregnancy, especially in the neighborhood we lived in when I got pregnant, for Bill to say "He better not be black!" (like the plot of every TV show.) I can tell you right now, paternity will obviously not be an issue! But it's funny nonetheless. I should tell you that the kitchen is almost done. I'm very impressed! Bill is just finishing painting it. I'll put up pictures when it is finished. For now, I am going to try to sleep....ugh...
